Dominion Senior Suites, is a 700sq ft. one-bedroom guest house adjacent to main house and located within a 10 acre estate. The grounds are spacious and safe with roaming deer. The private guest house accommodates 1 resident and 1 guest*, small pets ok.

Continuity of Care

Our clinicians assist third party providers, (home health, therapy, Hospice) coordinate schedules so no visits are missed.

24/7 On site Registered Nurse

Our caregivers provide 24/7 support and assistance for seniors who need around-the-clock care.

Physician Services (if needed)

Physician available to provide virtual or Face to Face consultations, if needed.

Medication Management

Ensure patient takes prescribed medications in accordance with Doctor's orders.

Mobility Assistance

Our caregivers provide assistance with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and maintain safety.

Home Modification

We offer home modification services to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment, including motion sensing lights, voice activated intercom, emergency alert pagers, bed-railing and grab bars.

Dressing & Grooming

Our trained and compassionate caregivers provide in-home care services to seniors, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

We offer safe and reliable transportation services to seniors, helping them to get to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social events.

What types of medical care do you provide?

We provide a variety of medical care services for seniors including medication management, coordination of care and physician services.

What types of patients do you accept?

Independent living and Assisted Living patients are best suited. High acuity care patients are best suited for skilled nursing facilities.

How do you evaluate patients for admission?

Our decision is based on the Intake Form and conference with the resident's guardian.

How do you determine rates?

We offer daily, weekly and monthly rates.

How long can a resident guest stay?

A guest can stay overnight with resident for each day of the stay. A daily guest fee will apply.

Are pets allowed?

Small pets are allowed with a small non-refundable deposit.

Do you offer transportation to medical appointments?

Yes, we offer transportation services to medical appointments and other necessary destinations, at a nominal fee.

Do you provide assistance with daily living activities?

Yes, we provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and full meals.

Do you provide physician services?

Yes, if needed and for an additional fee, an internal medicine doctor is available..

Do you provide disposable items?

Yes, we provide disposable items for a small fee. You may bring your own.

How many residents are housed at your facility?

Only one and one resident guest.

Who is in charge of caring for the resident?

A fully credentialed Registered Nurse is on -site 24/7.

How is the food prepared?

Fully cooked Meals are delivered by restaurant suppliers and are then prepared and served by the staff.

What type of activities are available for the resident?

In coordination with resident and guardians wishes; arts and crafts, nature walks, feeding deer, discussing audio book/music, remembrance journal but always, lots of communication.

How often are linen and towels changed?

Daily

How many visitors are allowed?

The residence and the grounds are set up to encourage family visits, there is no limit to the number of guests. Visiting hours are based on the resident's activity/sleeping schedule.

How accessible is the residence?

Country living in the city! Just 4 minutes from the Dominion Country Club, 6 minutes from shopping Destinations the Rim and La Cantera. 35 minutes from Kerrville.

What about security?

The residence and the grounds are covered by security cameras as well as 24/7 staff. The grounds are well lighted The property is located on a private road and 1/4 mile from I-10 frontage road.
